In November

November was full of fun events. I seriously love the fall. I love summer too, but fall is just the best. Lucky for us, living down here -- the weather didn't start getting cold until mid-November. It was so great! November included a fun date night, playing outside, starting babysitting/date night co-op, Panther's game, and a trip to VA/DC/NYC (in the next post). I'll let the pictures do the talking....

FHE lesson on being thankful

Guilty.
Love Taylor and her new CD.

Baby girl loves sticks.

Like really really loves sticks.

Cutest little library in Matthews. Took the kids there one day.

Matthews also has this old train the kids loved playing on.

Date night at Dandelion Market -- probably our new favorite place

Happened upon a street concert after our dinner. So fun.

Little courtyard outside our townhouse. It was so beautiful this fall.

meeting daddy for a picnic lunch -- one of our favorite things to do

playing at The Green and we're matching with the polka dots and bright pants

horse riding -- he loved it

We started a babysitting/date night co-op with some families in our ward. It's been the best thing ever. Each family takes a turn babysitting in their home once a month, so that means 3 date nights a month! It is awesome. We hosted first, and it was seriously awesome -- these boys are so fun together. We ate pizza and played.

Then we had a pajama party complete with movie and popcorn. Fun night.

We got tickets to the Panthers game. This was a last minute thing and it worked out perfectly, thanks to some super giving friends from Raleigh (Harris family -- you all are the best!)

My parents were in town, so dad got to come to the game too.

Next post....Thanksgiving break in VA/DC and NYC.

  1. You've done some fun things and what a good idea to do a babysitting swap. I need to find someone to do that with. Where is the Dandelion Market? I haven't heard of that place.

    1. Megan -- It's in uptown on 5th street. It's a small, super cute restaurant that we found. They serve small dinner plates which are easily shared, so you can order more food and explore more of their menu. Really cool. You need to check it out next time you come. We really liked it.
