Charlotte, NC
Kate (Logan's sister) was in VA, so she took a bus down to Charlotte to fly out to Utah with us. She spent one whole day with us and helped me while I got last minute packing done.
Here she is "watching the kids" while I took a shower. Hudson took this picture of her sleeping on his bed. I thought it was hilarious. She was so tired from riding the bus overnight. Love you, Kate!
Getting ready to take-off
Kids were excited.
Unfortunately, we were delayed sitting out on the tarmac for about an hour because of a storm. Kids were troopers! We did have a layover which we were able to get to just in time. We flew into Las Vegas (closest big airport to St. George, UT).
St. George, UT
We got to St. George (Heidi drove up from AZ) and got to meet our niece/cousin for the first time. Oh what a sweet day! Averal is the cutest little thing and we are so so happy she is part of the family!
Bear Lake
We drove up to Bear Lake (for the Korth reunion). It was a long drive, but we made it! I drove up with Heidi, baby Averal, and Amelia. We were able to borrow Grandpa and Grandma Corbett's car which Logan drove with Hudson and Austin (his brother).

Funny story about Hudson's hat. We had told him we would stop at Smith and Edwards on our way up to Bear Lake so he could buy his fishing hat (with the money he earned from his lemonade stand). It was CLOSED by the time we got there. Sad day. Logan asked Austin to take Hudson in to Wal-mart and get him his fishing hat. Well, Austin and Hudson walk out of Wal-mart with this adult-sized hunting hat equipped with a flashlight on the rim. Hudson LOVED it (still does) and wore it the whole time at Bear Lake. It made us all laugh because it was much too big for him and not a fishing hat per say.
I just had to post this because Logan's dad found a clever way to wear his sleeping bag. Ha! Logan just went right along with it. Too funny!
He was fishing any minute he could.
This happened. Geez!
Collecting seashells with Grandpa
Hud fell asleep snuggled on Auntie M's lap. The cutest!
My sunshine girl!
Hud and Log kayaking. Bear Lake is so so beautiful.
All of the Corbett clan (plus extras and missing Hudson) for dinner one night

The whole Corbett gang (minus Carson and Leisha) getting raspberry shakes!!!
A Bear Lake favorite!
Video: Logan's uncle (David) had some of the kids help him build a fire.
David: "Hey! I'm the fire builder! You are the hauler!
We spent most of our time down by the lake, out on the boat, and mingling with the Korths (I wish I had taken more pictures). It was so fun being all together. My favorite part of these reunions is how everyone comes together to share stories with a little teasing/tough love along the way. We heard a lot of stories about Logan's Korth grandparents. It was so fun getting to know more people and also catch up with those that we had not seen in a long time. Family time is the best time and we enjoyed spending that with the Korths.
More pictures and posts of East Canyon/High Uintas/Provo/St. George to come (yes, we basically traveled up and down Utah in two weeks time).
